Terms and Conditions of Use
Welcome to Left Useful, an online map service that allows users to place locations of left behind furniture and items. By accessing or using Left Useful, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (the "Agreement"). If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement, you may not access or use the Left Useful service.
Purpose of the App: Left Useful provides an online shared map intended to reduce waste that can be upcycled or recycled. Left Useful is intended for use by any person who wishes to locate and repurpose discarded items.
Use of Personal Information: The app will use location services and allow users to upload images of items found on the street. No personal information about the user will be collected. However, the app will store a unique ID associated with the device in relation to the app for identification and blocking purposes.
Sharing of Information: The app will share the information uploaded by users openly for everyone to see within 7 days of upload. After 7 days, the image and location will be deleted.
Prohibited Content: Left Useful prohibits objectionable content or abusive users. Users who violate this policy may be blocked from using the app.
Fees and Revenue: Left Useful is provided free of charge, and does not generate revenue through advertising or other means.
Legal Compliance: By using Left Useful, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Termination: Left Useful reserves the right to terminate your use of the app at any time for any reason, without prior notice or liability.
Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Left Useful be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the app.
Intellectual Property: All content included on or in Left Useful, including without limitation, the text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Left Useful or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
Changes to the Agreement: Left Useful reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time, with or without notice. Your continued use of Left Useful after any changes to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Left Useful harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of your use of the app or your violation of this Agreement.
Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Left Useful and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and Left Useful regarding the use of the app.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The failure of Left Useful to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision.
By accessing or using Left Useful, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to be bound by this Agreement, you may not access or use the Left Useful service.
